SATURDAY SESSIONS # 37

assorted-color medication pill lot, pills, medicine, capsules, HD wallpaper

'Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to Saturday night's nationwide broadcast, Movers & Shakers, our weekly programme, beamed live into your homes across the continent, where we chat with the people who make our great country even greater. Such people are the Movers and the Shakers of Atlantis. The Movers, our sources of inspiration, moving us onwards and upwards; the Shakers, our critics and bootcamp coaches, shaking off the remnants of our past and all those things that fail to serve us any more! As always, Part One of our programme begins with the Shakers!'
Bardo showed the back of one his large, blue flashcards to the camera.
'Our slogan for the Shakers?'
Like schoolchildren, the audience bleated out the words on the card:
ALL TRUTH BEGINS AS HERESY.
'Thank you, thank you, ladies and gentlemen! Tonight, we kick off with this week's Shaker, Dr Jordan Karpathian, recently returned from a controversial trip to the forbidden continent of Lemuria, that impenetrable culture less than eight hours' flight from here, steeped in mystery, silence and a thousand rumours, and visited only occasionally by the select few! Jordan, welcome to Movers & Shakers! So, tell us a little about yourself first. What do you do?'
'I head up the Health & Safety division of the QSA, that's the Government-appointed Quality Standards Authority, the Advisory Body responsible for Quality Control Regulation across the continent.'
'But don't companies and institutions have their internal quality control mechanisms in place?'
'Yes, of course. QC is a mandatory requirement throughout the whole of our economy and society at large. You might say that the QSA is the last line of defence.'
'You guard the guards! So the buck stops with you, right?'
'That is correct.'
'Meaning, if you don't like what you see, if the product or service does not pass muster or meet the required standards of excellence, you can demand its removal from distribution?'
'Well, yes and no. We make recommendations based on our assessment. We might alternatively recommend certain modifications and even removal from distribution, or cessation of service, for example.'
'Now, it's an open secret, of course, that since your return from Lemuria a short while ago, you've been causing quite a stir in the media and social networks. Your harsh criticism of the quality of our food and water supplies, for example, has been particularly controversial, even though it is not exactly within the parameters of the Health & Safety Division of the QSA. Would you care to comment on that first?'
'I hope you are not implying, Bardo, that proper nutrition and the quality of our drinking water have nothing to do with health?'
'Food Technology and Water Quality are separate divisions of the QSA, are they not? The head of the Water division, Dr Solpethio, is quoted as having said that basically, and I quote, my esteemed colleague, the group-leader of the Health Division at the QSA, should kindly mind his own business, as I mind mine.'
Bardo turned blandly to the audience, which responded with an outburst of laughter.
'You have been quoted in the press as referring to the Department of Sickness, your employers at Government Buildings, not the Department of Health. Can you explain what you mean by that?'
'I mean that the Department of Health is focused exclusively on sickness, not on health.'
The applause from the audience was a great relief, although it was still hard to know whose side they were on.
'But surely our general practices, hospitals and pharmacies are focused on health, are they not?'
'Natural, non-toxic food, good nutrition, clean, untampered water and clear, oxygen-rich air are all vital to our health and longevity. The reason why sickness and chronic diseases have increased exponentially over the years is because we have turned our backs on nature and abandoned the basic essentials required for our everyday survival and health.'
Bardo checked his prompt-card.
'Last Tuesday, the CEOs of nine out of ten of our major pharmaceutical industries in Atlantis, that's ninety per-cent of the industry, wrote an open letter to the Government in the Atlantis Broadsheet calling for your resignation, based on what they describe as your incompetence and naiveté. You are quoted as having denied the validity of allopathic medicine in the treatment of chronic illness. They describe such a statement coming from the head of Health QC at the QSA as, and I quote, outrageous and utterly irresponsible, criminally negligent quackery. Pretty strong stuff, eh? In an interview on this channel on Wednesday, one of the CEO signatories of that letter, a psychiatrist by training, went on to suggest that you should consider psychiatric evaluation in the wake of your ill-advised and extended contact with the Lemurians.'
'Yes, I saw that interview. Dr Rilopak, wasn't it?  No doubt the good doctor has in mind a well-known brand of expensive, brightly-coloured capsules he can prescribe to cure my psychosis.'
Mercifully, the audience laughed again. It offered me a moment to reflect. Croescia and Jarok were at home looking in. I smiled faintly into the camera lens.  I was doing this for them. It was high time I stood up for myself, Croescia reassured me. I wouldn't have been able to do it without her. She's taking it all so well. Although she hasn't been herself since the story hit the papers. The other mothers seem to be avoiding her at the school.  Even Jarok himself told me this morning at breakfast that everyone in his class hated the Lemurians. When I asked him why, he said they just hated them, that's all.
'Clearly,' I continued, when the laughter died down, 'there's a role for allopathic medicine in acute medical situations; only a fool with sepsis or a broken leg will deny that. But medicine, as we know it, tends to focus on the symptoms rather than the cause, especially in chronic illness. Furthermore, in treating the symptoms, the cause is pushed further into obscurity.'
'So, are you suggesting that the pharmaceutical industry is not interested in the cause? Your training was in chemistry, was it not?'
'No, I'm not suggesting that at all. What I'm saying is simply, if the cause of chronic illness is non-physical, the treatment has to be non-physical. '
'So, how do you know if the cause is non-physical?'
'The cause is always non-physical.'
There was a murmur of disapproval throughout the audience.
'Of course there are triggers, but the energy body will succumb to the triggers if the cause is not addressed.'
When I glanced around, I saw people shaking their heads in perplexity and disbelief. Oops. I think I've lost them. Can't turn back now. Might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb.
'All healing must be based on spirituality; otherwise there is no healing. If you don't like the word spiritual, call it the energy field, the energy body template, where all diseases originate and have their blueprint. Symptoms may become less apparent with medical intervention, of course, but true healing must be energetic, spiritual, in tune with nature. Nature only wants us to be well, to be whole, to return to our natural state of homeostasis.'
'Meaning?'
'Equilibrium. Self-regulation. The body's internal balance, based on co-operation between the organs of the whole body and the cells within the organs. True healing addresses the whole body, not just a part of it. To address just one part of the body and ignore the rest, above all the energy body, is like trying to solve a flooding problem downstream while ignoring the knock-on effect upstream.'
'Yes, you have stated in one of your interviews that the body is less like a car and more like a river. Did I get that right?'
'A river of energy and information, yes.'
'And that we take better care of our cars than of our bodies, is that correct?'
Laughter. It was the way he said it.
'Yes.'
'So the cause of illnesses, you claim, is due to a block in the energy flow? '
'Yes, Bardo, that would be more or less correct.'
'And what might cause this blockage?'
'Everything negative, like fear, for example, or any negativity brought on by the illusion of separation. Separation of any kind is an illusion. There is no separation whatsoever in the infinite web of existence. Everybody, everything, everywhere, is interdependent.'
There were a few moments of uncomfortable silence as Bardo took a strategic breath designed for the camera, more like a sigh, and moved on to the next prompt-card in his hands.

SATURDAY SESSIONS # 36

I drop into a charity shop and snoop around a bit, hoping I might find something on the cheap for Lucy, you know, just as a gesture of my appreciation. I browse through the bookshelves and what do I see before me but a book called the Illustrated I Ching!  I know what Lucy is going to say, the first thing she's going to say is that there's no such thing as a co-incidence. There are only synchronicities. I leaf through the book, which is in good condition and which, indeed, is beautifully illustrated with Chinese paintings and calligraphy. A snip for five euro.
'Is this the one?' asks Lucy an hour later, pointing at the hexagram under the number twelve.
'That's the one!'
'And that's the other one! Right? '
Her finger was now below hexagram twenty-five.
'That's it! That's the one!'
'This is absolutely amazing!' she whispered excitedly. 'I mean, that you could come back from Lemuria with so much detail!'
'So, what are we looking at here?'

'We have to check the back of the book for a description of the changing lines, page one five four...there it is...line one...OK. I'll read it out to you. Are you ready?'
'Ready!'
'Stagnation!'
'Ha! That's what they said. Standstill. Same thing!'
'I know! Isn't it great? Ha-ha!'
'Which, the stagnation or the standstill? Just kidding.  Keep going, Lucy! What else does it say?'
'It says that there is no advantage, no growth, even to persons of exceptional character and virtue. Any useful ideas or insights are met with apathy or rejection. The atmosphere of your environment is unreceptive, even to altruistic and unselfish energies on your part...The political and social environment becomes corrupt...people are filled with mistrust...do not even attempt to influence others as this is not possible...Do not compromise your principles...'
'That's what they told me! I had to be true to myself. Follow my joy.'
'Do not be tempted by promises of reward or extravagant remunerations in return for your participation in a stagnant situation. The cost to your integrity will be high.'
'OK. Interesting. Does it advise me what I should do to stay out of trouble? I mean, apart from following my joy?'
'Well, self-reliance, it says here, but also removing yourself from stagnation. Resigning. Could that be leaving your job in Atlantis?'
'My job? My job there is anything but stagnant! There's a lot I can do. I need to make lots of changes, Lucy, recommendations, at the very least. Once the media in Atlantis get wind of how I think, they'll print anything I say. Why would I resign?'
'But the media are all behind the establishment. They're run by the establishment, aren't they? Why would the media rock the boat if it threatens their advertising revenue, their very bread and butter?'
'Don't forget the caviar. News, Lucy! They'll do it for news. News means ratings, ratings means ads and ads mean money. Of course they'll put their own spin on it, but at least everything will get an airing. That's it! Stagnation, like stagnant air or a water. The whole of the society is like stagnant, toxic, bacteria-ridden water. Would you not say that's what the standstill thing is about?'
'Hmm. Not sure. Let's have a look at your moving line. Line one, wasn't it? The bottom? ...When ribbon grass is pulled up, the sod comes with it... This would indicate a radical move, leading to success...you take others along with you... but only as long as you follow your intuition...If it is not possible to change or influence the current environment while retaining your integrity, withdraw promptly and completely. Your sympathisers may also leave with you...There it is!... Well, that looks pretty straightforward to me. Get out while you can? Get out while you can!'
'What? Leave the job? Why should I? It makes no sense!'
'All right, now we've got to look at number twenty-five. We just need to read over the so-called Judgement. Here, the three straight lines of the gua are above, The Creative, heaven, and the two broken lines with the straight line in the bottom half is The Arousing, thunder - remember that your moving line from hexagram twelve, which is broken, becomes a straight line and forms a new trigram and hence a new hexagram or gua.'
'Jesus, Lucy, you're getting to be as arcane as the lads in Lemuria!'
'Sorry!  I'm working it out for myself as I go along...I used to consult it as an oracle, using yarrow stalks...still a bit rusty... haven't done it for yonks. Anyway, ignore what I've just said, don't worry about understanding it. Just go with the flow for the moment.  OK?  I'll just see what else is there here, yes....Do not aspire to be rewarded...follow your heart...do not seek personal advancement...seek spontaneity, not security...'
'Shall we start?'
'OK! Let's get on with it! Make yourself comfortable. I'll just put on the music! This is exciting! Ha-ha! I can't wait for the next episode!'

SATURDAY SESSIONS # 35

Lemuria was remembered by the Romans. Their oldest ceremony was on 9th, 11th and 13th May, which they celebrated like Hallowe'en. The idea was to make peace with any restless spirits who had died violently or prematurely. These souls were accompanied by those of an ancestral people who had perished tragically in a flood. The Flood!  Romulus and Remus were Lemurians, it says here!

Small effigies of the deceased were tossed into the Tiber... oh, that's sweet.... the effigies were called lemures. They had large, glowing eyes. Hence the name given to the monkeys of Madagascar...The word lemures means ghosts in Latin....

Oh, I'm tired.  Focus, Jordan, focus.... Nan Madol... Nan Madol, tiny, wet, jungle island... another speck in the ocean!... sea-lanes and trading routes... thousands of miles away...the island has blocks that are heavier than those of the great Pyramid!... many of them up to twenty-five tonnes in weight and elevated to twenty metres. Here we go again!... sixty-tonne boulder lifted onto a platform...two-hundred million metric tonnes of stone!... Some of the walls are four metres thick... no keystones,  no arches, just lintels over doorway...no statues, no petroglyphs, no tools, no weapons found on this island overgrown by the jungle...plenty of basalt, though...artificial lakes...stone-lined canals...described as the Venice of the Pacific!...tunnels everywhere!... Why? ...

Tesla discovered that our planet pulsates with an electric current in the Extra Low Frequency range. 10 Hz of ELF beams bounced off the ionosphere, atmosphere's highest layer, to initiate electron resonance 70 miles up and generate dielectric breakdown over storm clouds... shorting out their electromagnetic core and diffusing their energy.... The same electromagnetic circuits are found in severe thunderstorms...The ancients believed this could stop hurricanes before they form! ...similar Mirror Force technology carried out at the HAARP weather-modifying centre in Alaska.... HAARP!...dodgy, very dodgy...

Nan Madol was a power centre to neutralize typhoons! Typhoons plague the Pacific with devastating effect...The typhoon would interface with millions of tons of magnetised basalt...Nan Madol was like a positive/negative battery...Wow!...The storm was shorted out by the mutual exchange of positive and negative electrical forces turning the typhoon into rain!..

So, Jordan. Nan Madol was a weather modification project designed to prevent tropical storms from becoming typhoons! Why? Here it is....

The Banaue Terraces of Luzon in the Philippines...Terraced rice plateaus, 49,400 acres along the Cordillera mountain range.... If laid end to end, the paddy fields would form a line half way round the earth!... Ha?!....50% or so still exists...And to think I'd never heard of them!... The rice fed all of the Lemurian refugees at some later stage in their post-Flood history when they needed to eat again like we do...The electric eels in the artificial lakes jumped the spark and initiated the electromagnetic process!... That is the reason for 92 artificial islets at Nan Madol... ...On the tiny island of Farulep, they used a numerical system in ancient times that expanded to 60,000,000...Wow!...Why?

Image result for nan madol images

It says here that the stones could be easily levitated because they resonated at the frequency of gravity! Hurray! That's what Zol said! That's how the blocks lose their weight!... Theoretically possible in modern physics...
So how did the weather thing work?... Blinding arcs of energy flashed from sea to sky, causing a short in the storm's electromagnetic core... Cool!... So agriculture was saved by science... But where did all that basalt come from?  Why, from Lemuria, of course! Before it sank!  They knew in advance there would be a catastrophe. They were preparing for the worst!  They even emigrated to Bolivia. Tiahuanaco was built in a single night according to folk-legend there. After the Flood. Other Lemurians fled to India...

The following morning, I am still in good time for my session with Lucy, so I wander around the streets just enjoying the moment. All of this will continue uninterrupted after my death, the traffic, the shops, the shoppers. I will be completely forgotten. Well, what I mean is, my life won't have mattered. My death won't have changed a single thing here. Not a thing. Forgotten is interesting, though. Forgotten by whom?  If I went away for a month, the shopkeepers would have already forgotten what I look like, even the neighbours for that matter. They'd have forgotten me in a month. Eventually, Cathy would get on with her life and forget me. Well, most of the time, anyway.  Maria and Jason have already forgotten me, more or less. Jason, certainly. I haven't heard from him in years. But it's best that way. Really. It's best not to let them know. Best to be just forgotten. Everybody else I know who went before me has already been forgotten.  That's the way things are. It's a fact of life, Jordan. Deal with it.
